Every 2 years the Jersey Rally comes to St Martin’s and our farm is encircled. The last time was when we actually moved in and had to have the removals lorry here before the road closures for the rally happened. Can’t believe we have only been here 2 years! This time is much more relaxed and we have time watch it 🏎️💨🏁

Now the chickens have settled in to their new home I thought it was about time I gave the outside of the chicken coop a make over. I asked AI for ideas first for ideas of how to make it pretty. I still have some finishing to do but it certainly looks a lot better 🐓 🏠

A long weekend in Bordeaux visiting Vineyards and I have now built my own mini vineyard 🍇. Hopefully in 3 to 4 years I will be able to make my own red w**e 🍷 🤞

Well done Tegan and DJ for placing 2nd in the veteran class at the Home Farm Equestrian Centre. 👏👏 DJ is an incredible 25yrs old.

The farm is getting bigger. Owen and Tegan have been busy clearing some nearby fields that we have taken on. A couple will be used for equine grazing and the others will hopefully used for livestock, perhaps sheep or goats 🤔 🐑 🐐

We have re-cycled to old Judging box from the British Show Jumping Association ground into a chicken house for our 20 new chickens. Thank Owen Pryce Farrier Services for converting it and thanks Jersey Riding Club Field for donating it 👏

The dark skies at Le Bouillon Farm are perfect for my Astrophotography hobby. Last night I managed to photograph both our own Milky Way above the house and our closest neighboring galaxy, Andromeda, which is 2.5 million light years away! Thought I could hear baaing🐏!!
It’s lovely to see these Manx Loaghtans sheep in nearby field. They are normally found on the north coast, keeping all the furze short.
