Hello everyone,

What a beautiful day we've had today! The weather forecast wasn't very promising and yet, look at that beautiful blue sky.

I had planned a picnic with my wonderful friends and their little ones, so I thought it would be the perfect time to use my mug cosy to keep my cuppa warm.

This one has a button instead of the bow, and I love the stripy look.

So many colours available....I would have one in each!

I have a few more available so please feel free to contact me if you would like to purchase one.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the last few hours of the weekend and you have a wonderful new week.

Lots of love,

Tamara xx

Hello everyone,

It feels like Spring has definitely arrived, doesn't it? What a beautiful weekend we've had in Jersey! I hope you have enjoyed it.

For that very same reason, it feels this post should wait until Autumn, but I'm literately with this colour combo, so I couldn't wait that long ๐Ÿ˜‰

I felt in love with the combination the first time I saw it on and I had to try it. Luckily for me, I had made the romper months ago and it worked just perfectly.

Isn't this the cutest? I think it would make the perfect gift for a new baby, don't you think?

I will definitely be trying new combinations soon, so watch this space ๐Ÿ‘€

What do you think? Would you like to see more of these?

Also, as usual, these can be made to order and in different sizes, so do get in touch should wish to place an order.

Lots of love,

Tamara xx

Happy Easter, everyone!

I hope you are having a wonderful Easter weekend.

I, for one, am still recovering from a cold, but managed to go for a much needed long walk this afternoon, and did it feel great? Absolutely. I'm knackered but it was great. It is a good thing I get to rest again tomorrow.

On the other hand, this long weekend has allowed me the extra time I needed to finish one my many started projects, so here it is.

I've been wanting to finish this lovely child jumper for ages, and now it is ready. Can't wait to try to make it again....maybe multi-coloured?

Which colour would you like to see it in? I read you โฌ‡๏ธ

Hello everyone,

It's been too long since the last time, and I can't believe is nearly April!

I haven't been able to dedicate too much time to The Little Things, but I have managed to find some gaps to work on small bits including these cute little bunnies I made during a crafty Sunday with my lovely friends.

They are about 10cm tall and they come in sets of 4 at ยฃ23.

They are the perfect little something to decorate your Easter table or any corner of the house.

Due to time and supplies, there is limited availability, but please do get in touch should you be interested in purchasing some.

I am now working on another set with slightly different colours (still pastel). I can't wait to show you ๐Ÿ˜€.

In the meantime, I hope you have enjoyed the wonderful weekend we've had.

Lots of love,

Tamara xx

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since you last saw me around here (way too long!), but I'm back now and determined to be more present.

As you know, I have a full time job so I am left with not a lot of time to work on the hundreds of projects I have started or I have in mind for the future. Also, I've been told I love to procrastinate ๐Ÿ™ƒ which I think it's not true. I simply enjoy stopping and contemplating every single thing I see around me ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyway....

As the darker and shorter days are leaving us soon, I thought it was the perfect time to bring a bit of colour. So when I saw this pattern by I fell in love instantly.

It's the perfect little something to brighten up someone's day, and as Mother's Day quickly approaches, why not gifting one of these mug cosies to enjoy a lovely cuppa.

These ones are not available anymore, but I will have some more soon, also in other colours (including neutrals), so please feel free to DM me should you wish any specific colour (please allow enough time because I might need to order the yarn depending on the colour).

They can also be made with a button instead of the bow.

They fit a 12oz mug (approx. 4.62"/11.5cm tall by 3.5"/9cm wide), and I used one of the cotton yarns, totally washable.

Please note mugs are not included.

I hope you like them as much as I do.

Lots of love,

Tamara xx

Whether you celebrate or not, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Day. I hope it's a day of peace and love.

And if you are struggling today, I send you extra love, as I am well aware it can also be a difficult day for many.

I hope the new year brings love and health to you and your loved ones, and much needed peace to the world.

Thank you for support this last year.

Lots of love,

Hello everyone,

I hope your week has gone smoothly and that you are ready for the weekend.

I have a very busy one ahead, and to be honest, December has also been a busy month so far, but I have managed to find the time to enjoy decorating the house.

You know I love everything handmade and this wasn't going to be any different.

For the stairs and the kitchen I used garlands bought at (one this year and one years ago), and then I added some crochet baubles I made.

I love these baubles because they have a rustic look that, in my opinion, works perfectly with the wood.

And then the orange and pinecone garland ๐Ÿงก

I love its simplicity and it is a very easy one to make.

If you have the time, you can make the orange slices yourself (I promise I will try one year), and you can collect pinecones on your Autumn walks. Otherwise, there are plenty of places where yiu can find them.

Then all you need is some twine and, if you want to add some colour, maybe add some ribbon. Or how about some cinnamon sticks? There are unlimited options.

Have you ever made your own Christmas decorations? If so, I would love to hear from you.

Lots of love,

Tamara xx

P.S. Please ignore the stair runner, it will be the first thing we'll replace when we have the budget to do so ๐Ÿ˜‚

Hello everyone,

I hope the week is going well.

This year I've kind of become obsessed with clay (so have my friends!).

I have made some ornaments for myself, and I have also had a special request: a custom gingerbread man with the name and a scarf with his football team colours.

You have got no idea how much it means to me receiving this super special orders. Knowing that someone wants to give something really special to a loved one, and they decide to ask me to fulfill the task is something I really appreciate, and it fills my heart.

Thank you for your support. Always.

Lots of love,

Tamara xx

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all having a wonderful (rainy) weekend.

I have spent the whole day today decorating the rest of the house, but I wanted to show you a very easy idea I got from to give my friends a little something and arrange the seating at our last evening's Christmas gathering.

All you need is a match box (everyone will use them either with a fireplace, with a candle...) and some paper. I used one of their wallpapers that I got a couple of years ago.

Depending on the type of paper and the finish of the box, you might be able to use glue, but I ended up using double sided tape.

Would you like to see more ideas regarding handmade presents, decorations, etc? I read you โฌ‡๏ธ

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

For me it has been quite productive (for a change!), and one of the things I've made is this wreath.

Let's be honest, there's nothing like a fresh real wreath. That's a fact.

But that being said, artificial wreaths can be very lovely too and, if using decent materials (usually more expensive, too), they can last many years (obviously, how exposed to the elements they are can affect their lifespan).

I made a wreath years ago, and I absolutely loved it, but I wanted to update it. However, instead of using just new materials, I stripped it and reused the base, the ribbon and most of the branches. I then added a few others and some old mini cones I collected one Autumn years ago.

Put all that together and you have a brand new wreath that, unless I want to change it, will last for years to come.

Also, if you like the stag hook, I got it from on Etsy.

I hope you like it as much as I do ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hello everyone,

Today I can show you a special request I received a while ago: a jumper for a very cheeky Elf.

I kept the neck opening quite wide to be able to take it off and wash it.

It was a bit of a challenge due to the size and the shape of the elf, but I thoroughly enjoyed the process.

A big thank you to for trusting me with this. I hope David behaves! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Lots of love,

Tamara xx
