Put my new Caran D'Ache Neocolor Aquarelle pastels to the test with this one.

Decided they'd work quite nicely as a ground, as they're water soluble, adhere beautifully to Pastelmat and**** I can mix them in with gouache and inks.

Either way, mega fun, here is a big WIP puptrait of a very pretty critter.
