A familiar corner of King Street, redefined.

40 King Street is an adaptive re-use project that brings renewed purpose to a key St Helier town centre site, delivering five residential apartments above a refurbished retail unit. The façade balances traditional proportions with contemporary detailing, with stone cladding, bronze anodised shopfronts and a bespoke ceramic frieze that reflect both context and history.

A carefully considered addition to the town centre that strengthens the character of the surrounding streetscape.

We spent two days in Clerkenwell with Neo Office and IPM visiting showrooms to inform an upcoming project. Seeing and testing pieces in person allows us to assess quality, comfort, and finish, helping refine our selections with confidence. We are pleased to share that the outline planning application for Strive Hotel received unanimous approval last week.

The proposal sets out a considered expansion of the existing Strive Health, Fitness and Medical Facility, introducing a hotel, conference spaces, and complementary wellness and leisure amenities. Shaped in response to its setting, the scheme contributes to the island’s evolving offer for sport, leisure and tourism.

The development has been approved in principle, marking a significant step forward for the project following a carefully considered design evolution. We look forward to sharing more as the design develops.
