We’re proud to announce that Acorn has been chosen as one of the charities supported by the St Martin’s Bonfire & Firework Display!

We’re delighted to be joining two other wonderful local causes, FREEDA and Caring Cooks, for what promises to be a fantastic evening on Saturday 7th November.

As if a huge bonfire and spectacular fireworks weren’t enough, we’ve got something else lined up for you!

The Jersey Showman will be giving us two fire shows at 7pm and again at 8pm, bringing even more excitement to this year’s St. Martin’s Charity Bonfire Night.

Could You Be One of Our 3 TCS London Marathon MyWay Fundraisers?

We're looking for 3 supporters to take on the TCS London Marathon MyWay on Sunday 25th April and raise funds for Acorn Enterprises.

This is more than just a challenge. By taking part, you'll be helping Acorn provide training and employment opportunities for Islanders who have a disability or long-term health condition, supporting individuals to gain skills, confidence and independence.

Marathon MyWay gives you the opportunity to take on the full 26.2 miles without travelling to London. Choose your own route, complete the distance at your own pace, and be part of the London Marathon experience from wherever you are. You can even divide up the route into sections, so long as it is completed in 24 hours.

We have just 3 places available, and we're asking participants to commit to raising a minimum of £1,000 in sponsorship.

Join us for a community evening while helping to raise funds for three local charities. Proceeds go directly towards supporting our mission of providing work and training opportunities for Islanders who have a disability or long-term health condition to gain skills, build confidence and take steps towards employment.

Bonfire lighting and display - 6:30pm
Guy Competition - 7:30pm
Fireworks Display - 8:30pm

REMINDER: October Half Term Roadworks: Acorn Remains Open as Normal! 🚧

During October half-term, resurfacing works will be taking place on La Rue D'Asplet from 25th October to 1st November 2026. Acorn's access and exit will remain open throughout the works, so you can continue to visit our site as usual.

Please note the temporary changes to exiting Acorn:

- Monday 26th & Tuesday 27th October
Left turn only when leaving Acorn. Use La Rue Au Sellier for onward westbound travel.

- Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th October
Right turn only when leaving Acorn. Use La Rue Guerdian for onward east and west travel.

Please note that Acorn is open as normal, and our entire site remains accessible throughout the works. We look forward to welcoming you as usual during half term.

Thank you for your patience and please allow a little extra time for your journey if you're planning a visit.

Acorn Woodshack recently crafted 30 wooden planters for the beautiful new garden at Maison des Amis, which officially opened last month.

The new specialist nursing facility in Trinity provides dedicated care and support for people with learning disabilities.

Acorn Commercial Manager Darren Arnold said: ‘It's been a lovely worthwhile project to be part of. We are delighted that Les Amis approached us for their planters. We hope the new residents of the home enjoy them for many years to come.’
