👋 Hi there!
It's a feel good Friday!
Today is a big day in my professional journey and the start of great things to come.

Last month, I was contacted by the lovely folks at to notify me that I was the Recipient of the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation WSET Scholarship for Level 4 Wines! 🤯🤯🤯

What an honor and amazing opportunity!
I anticipate the hard work and dedication it will take to achieve this certification but I'm ready 💪

The combination of curiosity, ambition, education and training will take you anywhere you dream of, I can attest to it.

New beginnings can be difficult but they can also be exciting.
Have an open mind, determine your goal(s) and always keep your eyes on the prize.

Over the past few years, I've met so many interesting, kind and inspiring people in the beverage/wine education industries.
I hope one day, I'll be that person for someone too.

Can I raise a glass to myself? Why not, it's my post 😂

I swear this is the football (NFL) menu today!

Duck breast salad made from roasted duck breast, mixed greens, purple cabbage, red onions, walnuts, sautéed mushrooms & garlic with a port/red wine vinegar dressing.

I've never had the Reserve Pinot Noir, so what better opportunity to try!

It has been awarded 91 Points by

The wine has a beautiful light garnet color.
While pouring the wine into the glass, you begin to smell the sweet baking spices, jammy red fruits and some floral notes.

The wine is slightly off-dry, has super soft tannins, juicy red fruit, dried berries and the mushrooms in the salad emphasizes those notes.

Not only does it pair well with mushrooms, but the delicate flavors compliment the duck so nicely.

It's great to drink now but will improve in the bottle for the next 8 years.

Highly recommended!

Learning can be fun...especially when it involves 🍾

I had the teams from and for a training on V***e Clicquot recently.
Needless to say, I've converted a few more people!

It was great interacting with the group, to teach them about the Champagne-making process, to dive into the intricacies of the brand, safety techniques to open the bottles and ways to upsell.

It's International Shiraz Day!
Today, we'll celebrate with one of the best coming out of an amazing region in - Valley.

Shiraz also known as Syrah (in regions such as the Rhone Valley in France) is a red grape that's known for its spicy flavors.

It's a bold red wine, that's dry, has a ton of dark fruit and peppery notes with high acid & well-integrated fine tannins, which makes it age-worthy.
