Some colours get a bad reputation in small spaces. 👀

Deep navy. Burgundy. Bold orange. Bright lime.

But should you really avoid them? Not necessarily. The right colour can work beautifully in a compact space, and sometimes it’s the unexpected choice that gives a room its personality.

The trick is knowing how to use it. Think about the natural light your space gets, what you’re pairing the colour with, where you’re using it and even the finish you choose. A bold shade doesn’t automatically make a small room feel smaller.
