80余年の時を経て、
今年も「越中八尾おわら踊り」が
ひがし茶屋街で演じられます。

富山県八尾町に伝わる
伝統行事「おわら風の盆」

二百十日の風を鎮め、
五穀豊穣を願う、
静かで幻想的なお祭りとして受け継がれてきました。

現代のおわらの基礎を築いたのは、
日本舞踊若柳流。

「かかし踊り」と呼ばれる男踊り、
「四季踊り」と呼ばれる女踊りなど、
上品でしなやかな所作は、
今も多くの人を魅了しています。

この催しは、
「金沢浅の川園遊会」の一環として開催されるもの。

八尾の町並みとはまた異なる、
茶屋街の灯りに包まれながら楽しむ、
特別なおわら流し。

石畳に響く胡弓の音色と、
静かに流れる踊り。

毎年、多くの観光客を魅了する
初夏の風物詩を、ぜひお楽しみください。
