SHACKLE ME NOT! Two weeks ago, our free-spirited co-founder Fredrik brought out his world passport and travelled to Helsinki to join forces with the Lords of Kofftown (KOFF RACE & Finnish Design Shop). Together they grinded out a day full of speed, hokus pokus and, of course, some good clean JOY.

FOR US, THE ACTION IS THE JUICE. That’s why we invited Finnish Design Shop to our HQ to interrogate Fredrik on all his secrets to a life filled with JOY. Coffee was poured, life was discussed. Eventually things got heated and they managed to squeeze his life rule number one out of him: ”Don’t let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to sit on for at least 30 seconds.” GIMME WHAT YOU GOT!

NO HEAVY METAL. Deep, deep in the endless forests of Småland, Sweden, the high-quality aluminium used in all our objects is recycled and extruded. At least 75% of the aluminium reclaimed comes from scrapped and collected products that have lived a previous and useful life. ALUMINUM IS FOREVER.

FEEL THE PAIN! It’s been nearly two years since we teamed up with Milan’s finest, , and set up shop in the middle of nowhere on the Swedish island of Öland. Over the course of a month-long stay, JOY OBJECTS’ resident sandbagger Fredrik found time to test his swing at the local golf course. The final score remains undisclosed — but one thing we know for certain. CHAIR ONE Alu & Chartreuse FLUSHES IT EVERY TIME.
