From sketch to craftsmanship.

Designed in 1977 by Motomi Kawakami, the NT Chair was the first collaboration between the designer and HOSHINA.

Its molded plywood frame combines remarkable strength with gentle, ergonomic curves, while the hand-woven leather seat offers lasting comfort that improves with care over time.

The woven leather can be professionally re-tensioned after years of use, allowing the chair to be maintained and enjoyed across generations.

Nearly 50 years after its introduction, the NT Chair continues to embody the timeless value of thoughtful design and enduring craftsmanship.
