梅雨の季節、風景写真家 越谷喜隆氏の個展を開催します。広告写真家として

40年余のキャリアを経て、彼は風景に身を投じ、その視線を世界の広がりへと向けてきました。越谷氏が向き合うのは、出会いの瞬間に響く自然そのものです。

どこか名もなき風景が彼を呼び寄せ、そこには空や雲、海や森、刻々と変わる光の気配があります。

「生まれ変わったら庭師になりたい」と話し、撮影の合間には自邸の庭で草花に語りかけるように、”小さな命”の気配に耳を澄ませます。そのささやかな”対話”が、彼の写真を生み出す根源です。

本展は今春イタリア写真誌「GLOBUS」に特集掲載された全作品を展示予定です。

During the rainy season, SMP GALLERY presents a solo exhibition by landscape photographer Yositaka Koshiya.

After a long career in advertising photography, Koshiya turned his gaze toward quiet, unnamed landscapes shaped by sky, sea, forest, clouds, and light. Listening closely to the small voices of nature, he captures moments of gentle dialogue with the living world.

This exhibition features the complete series recently highlighted in the Italian photography magazine "GLOBUS."

梅雨入り、紫陽花が瑞々しい季節。
「Seeds of Memory |キオクノタネ 」展、昨日6/9(火)、国内外沢山の皆さまにご覧いただき無事会期終了しました。
ギャラリー空間で、SNSでご覧になった方々、
ありがとうございました。

写真、陶芸、コラージュ、3人の作家が、素材と向き合い、三者三様、唯一無二の作品を展示しました。作家たちの静かで、深い精神性か宿る作品に感性を心地良く刺激されました。

作家の皆さま、韓国から、そして佐賀七山から、ご参加ありがとうございました。そしてまた、繋がります。お楽しみに！

As Tokyo enters the rainy season and hydrangeas bloom in their freshest colors, Seeds of Memory came to a successful close on June 9.

Thank you to everyone in Japan and abroad who visited the exhibition—whether at the gallery or through social media.

Through photography, ceramics, and collage, three artists explored their materials in distinct and deeply personal ways. Their unique works, imbued with quiet contemplation and profound spirituality, gently inspired our senses.

A heartfelt thank you to the artists who joined us from Korea and Nanayama, Saga.

会期も残り1週間を切りました！
静かに佇む作品たちを眺めていると、心がととのいます。

今春、SMP GALLERYにて個展を開催した韓国ソウル在住の写真家ナム・ジョンヒョンさんの作品を展示しています。

被写体は、李朝時代の磁器の月壺や、厳寒の季節に耐えるように川縁に在る枯れた蓮。それは蓮🪷が華やかに咲く時期を待つ健気な姿を捉えています。

作品は韓国伝統の手漉き紙・韓紙（Hanji）や、その紙に漆を重ねたHanjiに作家自身がプリントしています。

温もりのあるHanjiから生まれる色調やフォルム。そこには、“もの”たちへ向けられた、写真家の静かでやさしい眼差しが宿っています。

"Seeds of Memory" at SMP GALLERY enters its final week.
On view are works by Seoul-based photographer Nam Junghyun, whose solo exhibition was held at SMP GALLERY this spring.
His subjects — Joseon moon jars and winter lotus flowers quietly waiting for the season of bloom — are printed on traditional Korean Hanji paper and lacquered Hanji by the artist himself.
The warm textures and gentle tones reflect Nam’s quiet and tender gaze toward his subjects.

焼いた楮紙（名尾和紙）を幾層にも重ね、貼り合わせたコラージュ作品。松尾栄太郎さんの代表作「HAZAMA」シリーズよりご紹介しています。

現代アートは「なんとなくいいよね」と感じて欲しい、と語る栄太郎さん。長崎生まれ、28年住み慣れた京都から佐賀の山間部"七山"に居を構え、自然と共生、地域住民と交流し、家族との日常の機微、日々を紡ぎ創作を続ける。

地元唐津七山にある神社の床板、古木をパネルにした近作は木目の味わいが際立つ平面立体的作品。

公私のパートナー、ギャラリストの松尾麻里さんと運営する「A3ギャラリー」は、今春4周年を迎えた。

［Seeds of Memory | キオクノタネ］
三者三様、3人展開催中　〜6/9(火)迄　

SMP GALLERYにて初展示のPark Sung Wook (パク・ソンウク)さんの「Pyeon（ピョン）」シリーズをご紹介しています。

一見、タイルのような、小さな丸みを帯びた欠片。
“Pyeon”とは、韓国語で「欠片」や「断片」を意味する言葉。

この作品は、パクさんが、古い窯跡に残された陶片との出会いから生まれました。壊れ、散らばった破片を単なる“欠片”としてではなく、記憶が静かに留まり続ける風景として見つめています。

土を捏ね、陶板から陶片を切り取り、指で成形し、釉薬をかけ、焼き上げる。繰り返される焼成と再構築を通して、小さな陶片は新たな層を纏い、静かな景色へと姿を変えていきます。
そこには、土、水、火、そして時間の流れが折り重なるように存在しています。

作品の背景にある「粉青（ふんせい）」は、朝鮮王朝初期に生まれた韓国陶芸を代表する陶器様式。
パク・ソンウクさんは、その「粉青」の美意識を現代的に再解釈し、記憶の断片から、もうひとつの風景を紡ぎ出しています。

Park Sung Wook’s “Pyeon” series began with ceramic fragments discovered at ancient kiln sites.
“Pyeon,” meaning “fragment” in Korean, reflects the artist’s view of broken shards as quiet traces of memory and time.
Through repeated firing and reconstruction, the fragments are transformed into new landscapes shaped by earth, water, fire, and time.
Reinterpreting the Korean ceramic tradition of Buncheong, Park weaves scattered memories into contemporary forms.

3週間余りの会期中、友人、ファンの方々、初めて作品をご覧になる国内外大勢の皆さま、ご来廊、ご購入ありがとうございました。

昨日は、30℃越えの真夏日を記録した東京。無事搬出を終えて、がらんとしたギャラリー空間は、通り雨の後の様に清々しい空気が漂いました。

少し長くなりますが、、、亀井作品との出会いから、個展開催まで。

初めてお会いした、いえ、姿をお見かけしたのは、亀井さんが、初出品のインテリアの展示会でのこと。寡黙に制作をする姿、画家レオナルド藤田さんの様な風貌、そのストイックなオーラに、お声がけする勇気もなく会場を後にしました。

そして6年が経ち、ご縁あって、SMP GALLERYでの初めての亀井さんとの個展は、満を持して「亀井紀彦個展」。ギャラリー空間は都会の秘密の花園のように、ガラス越しに通りすがりの方々が、思わず引き寄せられる美しい色彩のマジック。

本展では、亀井さんの感性を通して生まれる唯一無二の「雨　ame art product」を、そしてギャラリー中央に、アート作品「時山」を展示しました。亀井さんが出会った伊豆修善寺の溶岩石にブリザードの苔、シダに、生の草花が寄り添う独創的な作品。

会期中、在廊2回以外に、草花の入れ替えに、北鎌倉から足繁く通ってくださった亀井さん。そして搬出の際、ご購入者の作品をひとつひとつ丁寧に自ら梱包。創作したものへ、心、愛を感じます。

搬出前に花市場に寄られ、早朝に創作した「花山」を、亀井さん、さり気なくこれどうぞと差し出してくださった。雨のブランドが生まれるきっかけとなった、生花で出来た作品。鳥が空の上から、花の咲いた山を上空から見ているイメージで制作している美しい逸品✨

“Norihiko Kamei Solo Exhibition” overflowed with fresh and vibrant colors.
Throughout the three-week exhibition, we sincerely thank all the friends, collectors, longtime admirers, and many visitors from Japan and abroad who came to experience and purchase the works.

Kamei-san creates imaginary landscapes that do not exist in reality — delicate worlds resembling tsuboniwa and miniature gardens, composed with preserved flowers, dried flowers, and art flowers, designed both for the palm of one’s hand and for thoughtful interior arrangements. Through his unique sensitivity, “ame art product” embodies a distinctly Japanese sense of beauty.

Before the final day, he stopped by the flower market and brought a freshly made work titled “Hanayama,” quietly offering it to us. Created entirely with fresh flowers, it became the original inspiration behind the “ame” brand. The work imagines a bird gazing down from the sky upon a mountain blooming with flowers.

Norihiko Kamei’s refined aesthetic, thoughtfulness, and gentle spirit will remain deeply memorable to us.

韓国ソウル在住、二人の作家と佐賀七山で創作する現代アーティストの3人展を開催します。

人はふと、懐かしく愛おしい過去の記憶を振り返り、立ち止まる。喜怒哀楽の感情は、日々の暮らしの中で、寄せては返す波のように巡り、やがて消えていく。そして、私たちは記憶の奥深くにひっそりと潜む、一筋の希望や光の種を見出していく。和紙や土、辞書を用いたコラージュ、韓紙（Hanji）に写真、陶土のタイルの欠片（Pyeon）による平面作品など、それぞれの作家が素材と静かに対峙しながら紡ぎ出す、奥深い「記憶」のかたちをご高覧ください。

Memories quietly surface through the rhythms of everyday life-moments of emotion that rise and fade like waves. And deep within memory, we discover small seeds of hope and light quietly hidden beneath the surface. Through collage incorporating washi, clay, and fragments of dictionaries, photography on Hanji, and ceramic tile fragments (Pyeon), the artists explore poetic forms of memory through material and process.
