It’s a wrap ❤︎

My antique kimono textile art exhibition at LIVELY Azabujuban has come to an end.
Thank you to everyone who visited, shared conversations and connected with the stories behind the works.

A special thank you to for your hospitality and support throughout the exhibition. You created a space that welcomed not only visitors, but also exhibitors, making it a truly enjoyable experience from beginning to end.

Every artwork carries a fragment of Japanese history, carefully reimagined for contemporary spaces and lifestyles. Seeing these stories resonate with so many people made this exhibition especially meaningful.

Until the next chapter ❤︎

Sometimes I refine them.
Sometimes I deliberately leave them untouched because they make the work feel human.
And I never fight with them.

Imperfections are the signs that the material is pre-loved ❤︎

The artwork is not yet on online gallery. Please require through DM.

I had something very particular in mind while creating this piece ❤︎

In Japan, I learned to see pine differently - they are about Strength, Endurance, Stillness.
A presence that survives wind, salt, snow, time.
Something deeply connected to silence and longevity.

In my childhood memories in Siberian woods, pine trees carry a sense of distance and nostalgia - quiet winds in forests, old paintings, the smell of summer resin under the sun. They feel emotional, almost melancholic. A tree of memory.

Now I’m working on a new artwork where I paint a pine tree not as a realistic landscape, but as a memory - somewhere between my Siberian cultural inheritance and the Japanese aesthetics that shaped me during these 20 years of life here.

Using washi paper, vintage kimono lining - traditional Japanese materials, I’m trying to translate not the appearance of the tree, but the feeling of it.

A pine remembered through two cultures ❤︎
