A toast, shaped by six months to a year of craftsmanship.
Each w**e cup is carved from a single piece of Japanese keyaki wood and carefully finished with urushi lacquer by skilled artisans.
The urushi creates a smooth feel at the rim, while the wooden body offers natural lightness, durability, and insulation—a distinctly different experience from drinking from glass.
The natural version highlights the beautiful grain of the keyaki wood. The maki-e version is decorated using a traditional Japanese lacquer technique in which gold and silver powder are applied to create an elegant, luminous design.
A piece of Japanese craftsmanship, made for a special toast.
Now available in store at O’MATCHA ISSHIKI, Tokyo.
Come and experience the beauty of the wood grain and urushi finish in person.
