The first floor of a two-story lifestyle store was reimagined as a place where retail and café functions naturally intersect, creating an environment that encourages people to stay and spend time.
Organized around a central counter, the space offers a series of places with different senses of distance and intimacy, allowing visitors to find a setting that feels comfortable to them. Furniture and lighting are carefully arranged to shape lines of sight and the density of occupation, creating multiple scenes and atmospheres within a single space.
By layering new materials onto the existing structure, variations in texture and depth emerge as an essential element of the spatial character. The project was conceived as a seamless integration of retail and hospitality — a space that gently invites people to linger.
