Part 2: I stayed loyal to what's good.
Same brand, same values, just a more elevated version of the vision I always had.
The organic fitted sheet, bamboo flat sheet, linen duvet & cover, a warm neutral bedcover with that deep red pattern that ties every single thing in this room together. Floral euros that mirrors the wall, square cushions that adds contrast and a lumber that compliments the space with texture.
That custom bed from with the scalloped edges against the wall like it was meant to be there. That's what happens when you trust your eye and give your vision the time it deserves.

Part 1: Nobody wants to talk about the in between. The room that isn't quite there yet.
I started simple, and slowly finished the room with lots of intention. Aurom homes was there with me from the beginning because real growth doesn't mean leaving behind what's good.
Thanks to for helping me bring my vision of the solid bed to life. It looks so good.

Staying at the country side brings my life to a certain relaxation that Nairobi will never put me in.
I enjoy waking up early to enjoy that freezing cold bath, showering outdoor and right after the sun hits my skin and I feel whole again. It's hard to explain that feeling but it's one thing I appreciate by staying here.
Ofcourse Simba is very pleased to see me when I am around 😍 🐶
