Reflecting back on the year 2014, we celebrate the journey that we travelled. We started the club with only 3 members and by year end we had seen more than 100 children coming to our club activities. It has been an amazing journey as Hobby Lobby Club and we thank God.

We have changed faces though and will be moving forward as Hobby World. Our rebranding will allow us to broaden our horizon yet remaining authentic.

Introducing ourselves afresh .....

2014 was a wonderful year. We opened our doors as Hobby Lobby club with only two guaranteed club members and ended the year having interacted with over 100 children. We are so grateful for the opportunity we had to positively impact young lives.

This year, we are taking things one level up! As a start, we have rebranded to Hobby World in an effort to be truly authentic and as a personal challenge that the world is our oyster. We are now spreading our wings as we fly into the trading arena.

WE ARE SO EXCITED!!! about the places we are headed to and the things we will see. Here's to another great year of business.

Yesterday was our recycling day. All our crafts revolved around newspapers.... we made collage artwork, newspaper decorations, newspaper bracelets and newspaper stars. Indeed, anything can be used to create beauty.

Our eighth day was long and tiring.... but we had loads of fun! we started off by delivering Christmas gifts to the kids over at Cheryl's children home then we learnt how to ice muffins and we finished off by making ornaments out of African fabric . There was also time for a game of musical chairs and musical statues.

Today was all about giving back! The club members spent the morning putting together gift boxes for children who live in Cheryl's children home off Ngong road. The gift boxes each contained a hand made card, beaded bracelets, a nice Christmas themed painting, a packet of sweets and a toy. They then wrapped the gift boxes in readiness for delivery tomorrow. After break, we played outdoors: Kati, Shake and Police & Robbers. To wrap up the day, we got our five minutes of fame when an NTV crew came to record us making Christmas crafts. Another fun day at Hobby Lobby Club!
