We successfully held yet another impactful 2-day training for our sheep farmers, focused on sheep farming as a business and practical business planning skills.

The training equiped farmers with knowledge on budgeting, cost management, record keeping, market planning and value addition.

At Njabiniwoolcrafts , we believe empowering farmers with business skills is key to strengthening the wool value chain, improving livelihoods, and promoting sustainable grassland conservation.

Did you know that wool is more sustainable than synthetic fibers?

Wool is a natural, renewable fiber that grows back on sheep every year, making it far more sustainable than synthetic fabrics made from petroleum based plastics.

Unlike polyster, or nylon, wool is biodegradable and returns to the soil at the end of it's life without releasing harmful micro plastics into the environment.
Synthetic fabrics on the other hand, can take hundred of years to breakdown and shed microppastics every time they are washed , contributing to water pollution.

Wool is naturally breathable, durable, and temperature regulating, reducing the need of frequency washing and energy use.

Choosing wool means choosing sustainability, durability, and environmental responsibility.
