We successfully held yet another impactful 2-day training for our sheep farmers, focused on sheep farming as a business and practical business planning skills.

The training equiped farmers with knowledge on budgeting, cost management, record keeping, market planning and value addition.

At Njabiniwoolcrafts , we believe empowering farmers with business skills is key to strengthening the wool value chain, improving livelihoods, and promoting sustainable grassland conservation.

Wool is a natural, renewable fiber that grows back on sheep every year, making it far more sustainable than synthetic fabrics made from petroleum based plastics.

Unlike polyster, or nylon, wool is biodegradable and returns to the soil at the end of it's life without releasing harmful micro plastics into the environment.
Synthetic fabrics on the other hand, can take hundred of years to breakdown and shed microppastics every time they are washed , contributing to water pollution.

We successfully held another impactful training session at Murungaru Ward for our dedicated sheep farmers.
It was a great day of learning, sharing experiences and strengthening skills in proper sheep management from feeding, housing, disease control and best breeding practices. Our farmers gained practical knowledge to improve productivity, good quality wool and profitability.

We had an amazing time at our farmers’ training workshop today! Farmers were trained on proper sheep management, from daily care,housing, and nutrition to health and breeding practices. The engagement, questions, and shared experiences made the session truly impactful. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn together and support our farmers in improving their livelihoods.
