🌊 New at The Buluu Drift 🌊

We’re thrilled to welcome Steven of Solo Pesce - a gyotaku artist whose work captures the ocean one fish at a time.

Using the traditional Japanese technique of gyotaku (fish impression), Steven prints directly from real fish to preserve their exact form - every scale, fin, and contour. Some pieces are quiet, meditative monochromes on delicate mulberry paper and sumi ink; others build into bold, painterly works on cotton and acrylic, where the fish becomes both specimen and symbol.

Born from a deep love of the sea and three years working alongside fishing communities along the Kenyan coast, each print is a tribute - to the fish, the ocean it swam in, and the hands that caught it.

Unique, one-off artwork, now available in store. We only have a couple in stock for now so hurry before they sell out 🐟
