Last week at 's new relocation opening inside the antique market building in Dapsimni
I’ve visited several of Duson Gallery’s previous locations, and they’ve always managed to preserve certain architectural traits of the original spaces they occupy while transforming them into places that function as proper art galleries
This new location, however, is something else entirely
By combining multiple retail booths, the corridors that connect them and retaining some elements of their former use such as shutters, they’ve created one of the most unique repurposed gallery spaces I’ve seen
This place should be a must-visit not only for art lovers, but for anyone curious about how unconventional spaces can inspire new ideas

Although we didn’t get to go on our annual autumn foliage trip this year, we did take a drive to Namhansanseong, where we caught the fleeting seasonal colors and enjoyed some traditional Korean food
I’d say that, along with the two-hour round trip, qualifies as a mini getaway for the season! 😄

The light-filled stairwell of the Munhori 457 East-West Residence is made possible by floor-to-ceiling glazing on both the north and south sides of the stairwell landing on the second floor
Upon landing on the second floor, the viewer has an unobstructed view of the balcony and courtyard to the north and the grassy lawn to the south

Shower with a view 😊🚿🏙🏞
What was once a walk-in closet for this bedroom has been transformed into a shower booth with a sheet of glass separating the booth from the bedroom
What you get now is a showering experience with natural lights coming into the booth and a view of the river through the bedroom window
Since our remodel 2 years ago, this spot still remains my favorite place to start or end the day
