HJL Studio is a professional design and build practice in the field of architecture and interior design that provides progressive, yet functional, design solutions tailored to each clients' needs. Based in Seoul, Korea, HJL Studio was established by Heejae Lee on the grounds that a "good" design is one that maximizes a client's resources and becomes an asset, not a liability. Working closely with skilled professionals, we provide our clients with a design that reflects the current time we occupy while still being timeless in appearance. Our practice serves our clients on a very personal, yet professional level and strives to find the best design solution in which artistic innovation meets practical functionality.

Last week at 's new relocation opening inside the antique market building in Dapsimni
Iโ€™ve visited several of Duson Galleryโ€™s previous locations, and theyโ€™ve always managed to preserve certain architectural traits of the original spaces they occupy while transforming them into places that function as proper art galleries
This new location, however, is something else entirely
By combining multiple retail booths, the corridors that connect them and retaining some elements of their former use such as shutters, theyโ€™ve created one of the most unique repurposed gallery spaces Iโ€™ve seen
This place should be a must-visit not only for art lovers, but for anyone curious about how unconventional spaces can inspire new ideas
