공항은 서로 다른 언어와 국적의 사람들이 끊임없이 교차하는 거대한 흐름의 지점으로, stof는 이 공간이 지닌 속도와 관계의 특성을 ‘한국적인 곡선’이라는 구조적 언어로 풀어내고자 했습니다.
인천국제공항 내 한국전통문화센터는 전통과 현대, 낯섦과 익숙함, 여행자와 문화가 만나는 출발점입니다.
이번 프로젝트에서 stof는 달 항아리, 기와, 소반에서 발견되는 절제된 곡선의 감각을 공간과 가구 전반에 적용해, 동선과 시선이 자연스럽게 이어지는 리듬을 만들었습니다.
완만한 곡선과 직선의 균형, 구조로 작동하는 곡선, 그리고 재료가 만들어내는 밀도의 조율을 통해 이 공간이 스쳐 지나가는 여정 속에서 한국적 미감의 결을 조용히 경험하는 한 장면이 되기를 바랍니다.

An airport is a place where countless paths, gazes, and rhythms intersect.
stof sought to translate these qualities of speed and relationship into a spatial language rooted in the Korean curve.
Located within Incheon International Airport, the Korea Traditional Culture Center becomes a point of encounter—between tradition and modernity, the familiar and the unfamiliar.
Drawing from the restrained curves found in moon jars, roof tiles, and soban tables, the project introduces a gentle rhythm that guides movement, balances structure, and connects space through form.
Through the interplay of curves and straight lines, structure and material, this space offers travelers a quiet moment to encounter the depth and subtle texture of Korean aesthetics along their journey.

2019년 stof의 초기작업이었던 h**e coffee **e_coffee 를 위한 가구 리뉴얼 (2025)

과하지 않은 재료 간의 대비, 동선과 시선을 자연스럽게 유도하는 선線, 볼드함 안에서의 섬세함 등.
기존의 공간이 가지고 있는 언어를 유지하면서 동시에 공유할 수 있는 의자와 테이블, 진열장을 제작하였습니다.

While the original space designed by stof in 2019 remains intact, the furniture has been newly renewed in 2025.
We explored a balance between materials without excess, lines that naturally guide flow and sight, and delicacy within boldness.
The new chairs, tables, and display cabinets were designed to preserve the language of the original space while encouraging shared experience.

LG 한국영업본부 Work&Life Lounge (2025)

LG 한국영업본부 서울역 빌딩 8층은 재충전을 위한 사적 휴게 공간, 여러 상황에 대응하는 유연한 미팅 공간, 외부 고객과의 소통 공간, 부서 간의 교류 공간 등 여러 프로그램이 배치되어 다양한 관계가 끊임없이 교류되는 장소로서의 역할을 수행하고 있습니다.

각각의 프로그램에 캐릭터와 관계를 설정하고, 물리적/개념적으로 유연하게 상호작용 하도록 다양한 스케일과 형태의 복도를 두어 프로그램 간의 관계를 더욱 긴밀하게 하고 적극적으로 연결하여 하나의 통합된 Work&Life 비즈니스 라운지를 조성하였습니다.

On the 8th floor of the Seoul Station Building, the LG Korea Sales Headquarters houses a variety of programs designed to foster constant interaction and exchange: a private lounge for rest and recharge, flexible meeting spaces adaptable to different situations, areas for communication with external clients, and zones for interdepartmental exchange.

Each program was given its own character and relational setting, while corridors of varying scales and forms were introduced to encourage flexible physical and conceptual interaction. These connections strengthen the relationships between programs, actively linking them together to form a unified Work & Life Business Lounge.
