Assalamu alaikum and hello ,my lovely Pop of Colour family !

It’s definitely been a while since I actively showed up here. I’m here to make an announcement. I’ve kinda been on a break since Dec due to a spine issue. I’ve been taking a few simple orders during this time coz I’m clearly not v good at taking breaks!
However, given our country’s situation - the rapid price fluctuations and the difficulty in sourcing supplies , I’ve made the hard decision to put Pop of Colour on hold for the rest of this year to concentrate on my SVG designing instead ( - do follow me there!) The time has come for me to “pivot” as my coach says. This is in no way a goodbye, it’s just a pause until my SVG designing store takes flight.
I will be uploading pics of orders I took in the last few months . Also, I’ll be making test cuts for my SVG designing so do keep your eyes open for sales ( think - party decor for various themes) of the physical items.

Thanks for all the love throughout and do stay strong and don’t lose faith during these trying times.

Much love,
A

Eid Mubarak my Pop of Colour family…

May Allah shower our beloved country with countless blessings and save us from the wrong type of people in power. Let our beautiful nation rise as one and be an example of change to the world . Lots of love,

A

P.s - Despite kinda sorta being on a break, I appreciate the inquiries and orders that came our way this Ramadan/ Eid season. Don’t forget to forget to send us pictures of your decor, because we absolutely love being a part of your Eid celebration.

To our beautiful Instagram Family, Ramadan Mubarak from Pop of Colour 💜☪️

With all that’s going on in the in our beloved country , here’s hoping that the Blessed Month of Ramadan soothes our hearts and souls, brings us a sense of peace and welcomes barakah upon barakah into our homes ! We ask Allah for closeness to Him,
protection from Jahannam , strengthening of our iman and entrance into Jannathul Firdhouse . Wishing you a very Blessed Ramadan!

Much love,
A

Stay safe, everyone. I know these are challenging times and the sense of doom and gloom is inevitable. BUT, but, there’s hope in us as srilankans, as innocent people of our beautiful motherland, InshaAllah our voices will be heard! May all those who abuse their position and power be brought to justice and let’s pray that peace and normalcy returns to our home land very very soon .

Our third and final design for the seasonal porch signs…

Holiday calories don’t count..! They don’t. For real.

While we wanted to tweak the previous designs to suit our country, we didn’t “localise” the quote on this one. Why, you ask? Because we do think that if there was one universal language of love.. it would definitely have something to do with food!!
And that’s why there wasn’t a need to ‘srilankanize’ this.

Swipe for a picture from a very special customer who had a lovely dinner set up for the season at her home ❤️❄️ Thank you so very much for the picture.

What kind of holiday eater are you? Cautious? Tempted but in control…? Or go all out coz holidays are meant to be an excuse for binge eating?? We’d love to know…. We’re definitely the third kind!

All three porch sign designs created just for this season now available . Do grab yours soon and let your party be the talk of the town for all the right reasons ❤️
