Our Story

Verpstas (Spindle) ir verpstė (Distaff) buvo naudojami senovės Lietuvoje ir kitų šalių kultūrose verpiant vilną, linus ir kitus audinius. Puošnias verpstes gamindavo mylimoms moterims ir perleisdavo iš kartos į kartą. Verpstės ornamentuose buvo tarsi užkoduojami patys geriausi palinkėjimai. Jos forma (dažniausiai susidedanti iš 2 apskritimų) simbolizuodavo gyvenimo medį, pasaulio struktūrą, kuri reikšdavo perleidimo geriausią patirtį ir dalijimąsi gyvenimo pamokomis, tam kad sekančiai kartai jis būtų geresnis ir laimingesnis.
