Linkėjimai iš žaliųjų Lofotenų! 💚⛰️

Ir vėl esu ten, kur širdis jaučiasi lyg namuose💚🙏

Visą liepą būsiu čia – lydėsiu žmones į kalnus, dalinsiuosi šio krašto istorijomis, gėrėsiuosi nepakartojama gamta ir, žinoma, visiškai nenuspėjamu Lofotenų oru. 😜⛰️

Dvi grupės jau išlydėtos, dar dvi laukia. 🙏

Post/6 🐈🐈‍⬛An interior Designed for Every member of Family

Follow the full story of this project 💚

When designing this home, we wanted it to feel welcoming not only for the homeowners, but also for their four-legged family members — two wonderful cats, Morka and Žirnis.

That’s why we integrated a custom bookshelf into the living area, designed not only for books but also for climbing, playing, and observing the world from above.

Every shelf and opening was carefully planned to make it safe and enjoyable.

As far as we know, Morka loves it. Žirnis is still deciding 😛

Then again, cats always have their own opinion.

Because a home feels complete when every member of the family has a place of their own.

Post/5 Why Install Flooring at a 45° Angle?

Sometimes, the smallest design decisions have the biggest impact.

In this project, the flooring was installed at a 45° angle—not as a trend, but as a deliberate design choice to enhance the feeling of space.

The diagonal pattern visually connects the rooms, guides the eye through the apartment, and creates a natural flow between different areas. As a result, the home feels more cohesive, open, and spacious than its actual size.

It’s one of those details that may go unnoticed at first glance, yet it quietly shapes the way the entire interior is experienced.

G&R INTERIOR
Post/4 — Why Green?💚

Some colours are chosen from catalogues. Others emerge from life itself.

Green found its place in this interior naturally. It began with the homeowners’ wish for a green kitchen, but as the project evolved, we realised this colour was telling a much bigger story.

Our first meeting took place in nature, surrounded by mountains and greenery. Perhaps that is why green became such an organic part of the creative process — gradually growing from a kitchen accent into a thread that connects the entire home.
- Alive.
- Natural.
- Full of energy.

Not every colour in an interior is inspired by trends.
Sometimes it is inspired by people, places, and moments that become woven into the story of a home.

G&R INTERIOR
Post/3 The glass block wall- the heart of the project.

Every project has one defining detail.
In this apartment, it was the glass block wall.

When we reconfigured the layout, the living area lost some direct natural light. To keep the space bright and connected, we introduced a glass block wall that allows daylight to flow from the south-facing workspace into the heart of the home.

More than a partition, it became a feature that brings light, openness, and character to the entire apartment.

Despite its effortless appearance, it was one of the most complex and meticulously executed elements of the project.

Sometimes, a single design element can completely transform the feeling of a space.

G&R INTERIOR PROJECT💚
Post/2 How 60 m² became more than 60 m²

This project was ALL about rethinking the layout and making every square meter count!

Instead of long, dark corridors, we created a home where spaces flow naturally and serve a purpose.

By minimizing circulation areas and reorganizing the floor plan, we divided the apartment into two clear zones: a bright, open living area and a private space for work, rest, and sleep.

One of the biggest achievements was creating two dedicated workspaces, even though the original layout had no room for them.

The result? A light-filled home that feels much larger than its actual 60 m².

Great interior design starts with understanding how people live — and creating spaces that truly support their lifestyle.

G&R INTERIOR PROJECT 💚
Post/1 From Vision to Reality

Finally, we can share the completed project!

After more than two years of work, a project that once existed only in sketches, visualisations, material samples, and construction drawings has finally come to life.

This 60 m² apartment in Vilnius was designed with a strong focus on functionality, natural light, thoughtful zoning, and making every square metre count.

Today, we are sharing the first video of the project. In the coming days, we will tell more about the ideas, challenges, and design decisions that shaped the final result. Because the most beautiful part of a project is often not the finished photographs, but the journey that leads to them.

We are truly grateful to the homeowners, for their trust throughout the entire process. Projects like this are born not only from ideas and drawings, but also from collaboration, open dialogue, and a shared vision of creating a home that reflects the people who live in it💚

We are grateful to have been part of this journey and wish them many years of comfort, warmth, light, and beautiful moments in their new home💚
