Recently, we welcomed Lukasz Strzelczyk from Gewiss to our new warehouse in Latvia.

Gewiss develops solutions for electrical installations, energy management and distribution, home and building automation, smart lighting, and e-mobility. Bank of Lamps is proud to be an official Gewiss distributor in Latvia.

During the visit, we showed around the warehouse, discussed logistics and stock management, and talked about our plans for future cooperation. Our new warehouse gives us more space, improves product availability and helps us process orders more efficiently.

⚽ The World Cup final has reached our warehouse.

On 19 July, Argentina and Spain meet in one of the most anticipated football matches of the year. We are looking forward to it too, so we gave our Riga warehouse a small match-day update.

While the teams prepare for kick-off, 12,000+ lighting and electrical items are already ready to ship from our 9,000 m² warehouse. More than €30M worth of stock is physically available, with new deliveries arriving every week.

We'll leave the final result to the pitch and keep our warehouse ready for your next B2B project.

We welcomed our partners from Legrand to our new warehouse.

Legrand is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure, with solutions used in residential, commercial and industrial projects. Bank of Lamps is proud to be the official distributor of Legrand products in Latvia.

Together with Philippine Declercq and Ramunas Brazys from Legrand, we showed the new space, discussed current work and talked about ongoing cooperation.

The new warehouse gives us more capacity, better stock availability and more stable day-to-day operations for our B2B clients across the Baltics and Europe.

🗣️From the outside, B2B can often look very simple - a request, a price, a delivery time, an order. In reality, every order comes with its own situation. Deadlines, pressure from end clients and different expectations on each side.

🤔The new office could have looked very different

Our new warehouse and office - now part of the biggest electrical and lighting warehouse in Eastern Europe.

Since the move, the team has probably spent too much time thinking about how the new office could look. With this much lighting equipment around us and more than 12 000 products ready to ship, the ideas quickly went beyond a normal workspace.
At some point, the office started looking less like an office and more like a mission control room, a red-light district, an underground casino or a place where questionable experiments happen after working hours.

In the end, we stayed with the original plan.

A warehouse and office built for B2B operations, procurement, logistics and the daily work behind Bank of Lamps.

Probably the right decision.

Although a few of the other versions still looked convincing. We are curious which one you would have picked. ✍️

Many people know Deniss through order updates, delivery questions and email threads.
Behind the inbox is someone who spent 15 seasons in Latvian top-flight football, graduated from LSPA and learned early how to combine discipline, studies, work and sport.

He spends his evenings with his 6-year-old son, tends to his garden, and travels whenever he can - 46 countries so far with his wife.
