This private apartment interior is situated in a historical building in a silent centre of Riga. The project is a sensitive transformation of a space where early 20th- century elegance is met with a contemporary. The renovation of the building in 2004 destroyed all the original decorations, leaving only the shape of the rooms.

The material palette: stone and steel surfaces, soft ash and walnut textures, and brass details add warmth to the otherwise restrained composition of the space. Light is a design element that creates the atmosphere from room to room. Functionality is discreetly incorporated, with built-in in volumes that blend with the architecture, creating a harmonious balance between utility and form.

This is a space designed not only for living but also for enjoying the senses - listening to silence, peace, and a sense of beauty. It reflects the studio's broader approach: to refine rather than decorate, to reveal rather than add.

Māja pie jūras - koka un dabīgā lokālā akmens siltuma struktūras piepildīta. Balansējot starp priedes aktīvo faktūru, ozola raksturu - papildinot ar pieklusinātām faktūrām un izteiksmīgām, lakoniskām formām.. komforts, kas attaisnojās katrā detaļā un meistarīgajā izpildījumā.

The project is conceived as a dialogue between rural romanticism and contemporary rhythm and aesthetic - merging and existing log structure with a modern interior language.

A space where material, light, and silence take center stage - structure and flow in harmony.

Projekts veidots dialogā starp lauku romantiku un mūsdienīgo ritmu, saiknē ar esošo autentisku guļbūves struktūru savienojumā ar laikmetīgu interjera valodu. Telpa kuras centrā ir materiāls gaisma un klusums, struktūra un plūsma.

Māja pie jūras - koka struktūras siltuma piepildīta, balansējot starp priedes aktīvo faktūru un formu telpā un ienākošām pieklusinātām faktūrām un formām.

Jūra, saule, smiltis... jūras tonis noteica kamīna podiņu izvēli - kā centrālais ēkas funkcionālās struktūras elements - kas tonāli atkārtojas arī saimnieku guļamistabā..

One beautiful apartment project in the quiet centre of Riga is finished - we celebrate the occasion with the client and have a good time together, enthusiasm and conversation, mutual gratitude, trust and satisfaction with the result.
The project was carried out without the client being present, coordinating also the ongoing solutions in the process with online calls and photos. The building was once constructed in the early 20th century, and later renovated in 2004, as a result of which much of the historical evidence in the space had already been lost. The conceptual brief for the interior was to bring back a sense of the architectural essence of the building, while not mimicking the historic details. The architectural details of the space - ceiling height, doors, space, walls sometimes merging with built-in furniture to form a cohesive and functional ensemble - were given attention when designing the space.

Ar gandarījumu un pateicību par paveikto!!!!

Viens skaists dzīvokļa projekts Rīgas klusajā centrā ir pabeigts - šo notikumu svinam kopā ar klientu un kopā labi pavadām laiku, entuziasms un sarunas, abpusēja pateicība, uzticēšanās un gandarījums par rezultātu.
Projekts tika realizēts bez klienta klātbūtnes, saskaņojot arī tekošos risinājumus procesā ar tiešsaistes zvaniem un foto. Ēka savulaik tika uzbūvēta 20. gs sākumā, vēlāk 2004. gadā tika veikta ēkas rekonstrukcija, kā rezultātā daudzas vēsturiskās liecības telpā bija jau zudušas. Interjera konceptuālais uzdevums bija atgriezt sajūtu par ēkas arhitektūras būtību, tai pašā laikā neimitēt vēsturiskās detaļas. Veidojot telpu - uzmanība tika pievērsta telpas arhitektoniskajām detaļām - griestu augstumam, durvīm, telpai, sienām dažkārt saplūstot ar iebūvētām mēbelēm, veidojot vienotu un funkcionālu ansambli.
