ထပ်မံပြီး မကူးယူကြရန် မေတ္တာရပ်ခံခြင်း 🙏🩷 ကျွန်မဒီစာကိုရေးတဲ့အချိန် တကယ်ဒေါသကိုမေ့ထားပြီး အကောင်းဆုံးပဲ ရေးသားထားပါတယ်ရှင်

အခုချိန်မှာ Admin တို့ကိုယ်တိုင်လည်း တဖက်ကအလုပ်တွေကြောင့် တစ်နှစ်အတွင်းမှာ Petrichor ကိုသေချာဆက်ပြီး မသွားနိုင်သေးတာပါ။ ဒါဟာ ရပ်တန့်နေမှာလည်းမဟုတ်သလို ပိုပြီးကောင်းလာတဲ့ Brand တစ်ခုဆက်ရှိနေဖို့ နောက်လုပ်ငန်းတွေဆက်သွားဖို့ ကိုယ်တိုင်လည်း အသိပညာ အတန်းပညာ အသစ်တွေ အမြဲသင်ယူနေရသူပါ။

၂၀၂၁ လောက်ထဲက ထုတ်လာတဲ့ collection တွေထဲမှာ တန်ဖိုးအထားဆုံးက - "ဆံရစ်ဝိုင်း" 💛 "ပဒေါင်တိုင်းရင်းသူ" 💛 "ကြာပန်း" 💛 နဲ့ "ပုသိမ်ထီး"နားကပ်ပါပဲရှင့်။

“Empower Myanmar Weaving Industry: Sustainable Weaving Practice” curriculum

We are pleased to introduce a curriculum on weaving practices as an important component of the seven-month project titled “Empower Myanmar Weaving Industry – Sustainable Weaving Practice.” This curriculum is based on the academic knowledge and real-world experiences of textile professionals. As such, it is more than just a guidebook—it is a strategic resource aimed at preserving, promoting, and modernizing Myanmar’s traditional weaving industry with the intention of equipping weavers, trainers, and industry professionals with essential, sustainable techniques for a resilient future.

The core topics included in this curriculum are:
• Yarn Theory
• Cotton Hand Spinning
• Fabric Quality Control
• Fabric Treatment Methods
• Introduction to Fabric Steaming Houses

These components are designed to empower learners with a deep understanding of the materials they work with, hands-on techniques for creating high-quality yarn and fabric, and methods for preserving and enhancing fabric through environmentally conscious treatment practices. Authors aim to fill the existing gaps in the development of Myanmar’s traditional weaving and textile sectors. It is designed to be a useful study resource for the advancement of Myanmar’s weaving industry.

In Myanmar, books and academic resources on traditional craftsmanship are scarce. Therefore, this curriculum is intended to serve as a valuable reference for both learners and creators in the weaving and textile fields.

It is available online as a free downloadable resource for anyone interested.
