When AI lies, editorial responsibility matters more than ever.

I want to clarify a recent piece of sponsored content that used imagery from one of my completed interior design projects.

AI-generated “before and after” images were used to present a false design process and incorrectly attribute my award-winning work to a third party. This is not a case of inspiration or aesthetic overlap, but one of misrepresentation enabled by AI and lack of verification in the editorial process.

Since raising concerns, the original Instagram post has been removed without response or correction. However, the same sponsored content remains publicly visible on Facebook at the time of writing.

This matter is being addressed through appropriate legal and media channels. I’m sharing this here purely to clarify authorship and to highlight a broader issue facing our industry: how easily AI-generated imagery can be published as fact when editorial scrutiny falls short.
