Extremely Rare Malta 1948 FULL SHEET 1½d SELF-GOVERNMENT Overprint SG237b with ERROR/FLAW "NT" Joined. Unpriced by Stanley Gibbons and Murray Payne Catalogues.
A rare find as a single stamp, and probably unique to be found in a FULL sheet.

2nd July 1994 Malta Aviation Anniversaries and Events.

MALTA'S RAREST ERROR ON STAMP

After printing it was found that all 20c stamps were inscribed "Anniverarju" in error. These were reported to be all destroyed and replaced with new stock spelling out correctly as Anniversarju.
As may be seen, display leaflets were issued with the spelling error and these were distributed to the public prior to the discovery of this mistake.
To date this is the only stamp known in existence.
