A Shoal or a School of fish? 🐟

Our “Mackerel School”is made from old pallet wood and with a drift wood base which are quite often found from the South Island of Mauritius. These pieces are made in different sizes, with different amount of fish.

Our “Shingle glass bottle hangers” have come back. All recycled materials. The “shingles” are old roof tiles made from hardwoods that were used many years ago here in Mauritius. Endless fun of flower and foliage arrangements.

BIG & BOLD….. Our hand crafted lamp is made from Casuarina Wood, know in Mauritius as “Filao” which are famously dotted around the island and most popular being at public beaches. A fine looking piece that would fit well in Dad’s office.

Keeping with the “fish” theme, these rather fun whales are handmade from an old reclaimed wooden Pirogue. Pirogues are traditional boats here in Mauritius constructed by the expert hands of local builders and fishermen. 🚣‍♂️ 🐳 🇲🇺

Measuring approximately 30 cm in length this beautiful wooden tail is hand made out of a hard wood. We are rather pleased with grain coming through. A fab little piece that can be hang up on the wall or used as a decor piece on a coffee table, desk, dinning table...

A VERY overdue post, but that isn't to say we have not been creating. We have been busy with unique deco pieces, revamping shops, homes, events and even movie sets. Our mission is about recycling and sourcing locally grown as we now offer hand tied bouquets. So here's a few pictures of what we have been up too.
