“Unfinished Freedom” - Oil & Acrylic on canvas

This work reflects on the abolition of slavery as more than a moment in history. The idea behind it is about a shared memory and inherited struggle. It connects the history of slavery with the way women today are often discouraged from speaking openly or challenging social and power structures. Although chains are no longer visible, other forms of pressure still exist. This project is not only about pain, but also about resistance ! 💕 👩 ☮️
