Some pieces only get better with time.

The Tucroma chairs by Guido Faleschini, designed in 1971, paired with an Africa dining table by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto — a celebration of Italian design, rich materials and timeless craftsmanship.

Cognac leather, polished chrome and beautifully figured walnut burl come together in a composition that feels just as relevant today.

A Living Room Reimagined

Discover the before & after of a project we truly loved bringing to life.

The result came from decisions made with time and intention. Nothing was rushed. Each element was carefully considered and allowed to find its place within the space.

Some of our favorite pieces came from brands we love — including the Hechizoo rug, the Piet Boon sofas and the coffee table — complemented by a new lighting scheme designed around the artwork and the atmosphere we wanted to create.

Art became an essential part of the project. We curated the pieces specifically for the space and completely rethought the existing bookshelf. Instead of entering the room to a large wall of shelves, you are now welcomed by two works of art.

A space where art is not decoration, but part of how the room is experienced — and shared.

En CORE creemos que los espacios están vivos. Nos inspira su capacidad de transformarse, de cambiar con el tiempo y de generar nuevas conversaciones entre el diseño, el arte y la arquitectura.

Recibir la obra de Mathias Goeritz en nuestro showroom ha sido un verdadero privilegio. Poder convivir con el legado de uno de los grandes maestros del arte y la arquitectura en México representa una fuente constante de inspiración y reafirma nuestra convicción de que el diseño y el arte se enriquecen mutuamente.

Cada intervención transforma el espacio y nos invita a descubrir nuevas relaciones entre las piezas, los materiales y quienes las habitan. Porque un showroom no solo exhibe objetos: también cuenta historias.

Gracias a todos los que nos acompañaron en esta inauguración. La exposición permanecerá con nosotros durante los próximos meses y será un gusto recibirlos para compartir esta experiencia.

A space shaped by our favorite brands.
Discover the pieces that define this interior by swiping through.

The clients were already living in the space before the living room was fully defined. Why? Because it’s important to truly inhabit a new home first — to understand how it feels, what is needed, and only then make intentional decisions.

That is why the living area was designed as two distinct spaces:
a large curved lounge facing the fireplace, acting as a divider between the living and dining areas, and a smaller, more intimate seating area composed of four sofas.

We developed a custom rug together with Balmaceda, designed to integrate both living areas into one cohesive space while still allowing each setting to maintain its own identity.
