My name is Ultra Z , I was raise in both town and rural village (kampung) at Perak way back in early 70s. This has thought me to appreciate the great value of balance within: nature + man-made= innovation.
Those days houses was build with Purpose and Customizable. The traditional Malay house was build by great master thinker-builder; in just a basic grid plan wooden house, modular system, but IDEALLY in minimalist approach with full of functionality and handsome! It demonstrate a great detail applicable & respectful towards Allah, mankind (culture & society) and nature (environment).
This inspires me and the Ultra Team; to visualising true IDENTITY which makes the design can be established for hundred of years!
FRUSTRATION..
Todays most practices in building construction, interiors, architecture, furniture, or even graphics are failing to accommodate the client needs or such application businesses. Worst ‘redesign’ works excercises is just another BORING work of copied Idea from another project or known as “Biasa-Biasa Aje” (completely typical!). This is outrages and SUCKS…to this kind of edge society!
People always thought project undertakes can be so expensive if to hired a Designer. This is total UNTRUE. The actual fact; client will loose 200% or more as the total cost could jack-up by builders as there are UNCLEAR ‘blue prints’ of the DESIGN identity, planning strategy, budget, & etc. of your project. Our Client engaged us because the VALUES we provided is worth of their investment in what ever form & scale of projects.
