UMA Residence — A Modern Tropical Sanctuary

The design narrative revolves around the beauty of wood in its most honest form. From layered wooden strips to rich timber textures, every element was carefully curated to introduce warmth, rhythm, and depth into the space. The use of custom solid teak pieces — including the sculptural console and dining table — becomes more than furniture; they anchor the home with a sense of nature, craftsmanship, and timeless character.

Designed as a quiet sanctuary, this home embraces the raw beauty of nature through layered wood textures, custom solid teak elements, warm earthy tones, and subtle boho accents. Every detail was curated to create a resort-like atmosphere that feels calm, grounded, and timeless.

From the wooden ceiling beams to the textured artistic walls, the space plays with depth, warmth, and natural rhythm — bringing softness and stillness into everyday living.
