2/5/2026 - Day 2 of Labour Day bazaar at Third Concubine Lane Ipoh.

Started with a beautiful morning and later heavy rain the afternoon. Though it rains, everyone still in positive mood. The rain cools the place, my candles gave warmth.

Brought a new item and instantly became everyone's favorite (best seller too). 👍

Two sisters bought a beautiful candle as Mother's Day gift 🎁

A painting can tell a story by capturing a single moment from a larger narrative, symbols, characters and to imply what happened before and what will happen next.

A painting can be narrative art, historical, mythological, religious and fictional.

At one glance one may not know why I painted this painting 🤔. In fact many people ponder and wonder what's this painting is all about?!? So, let me tell you the story of this painting

It is a painting of me, myself, my birthday and my bazi.
1) Buddha is looking at me, bestowing me with peace, wisdom and enlightenment as I share the same birthday with Buddha.
2) A dragon 🐉 from the sky is looking straight at and almost touching the little girl (obviously it's me) as the day I was born was a Dragon Day. This mystical creature in Chinese zodiac is considered a highly auspicious sign, symbolizing power, strength and good fortune.
3) Hidden somewhere in the painting is a small little dragon 🐉 as I was born in the Dragon Hour. People born in the Dragon Hour are seen as confident, charismatic, ambitious and with a drive for success.

I submitted this painting to Milan Art Institute for my mastery graduation 🎓 piece and also to the IYCEA (International Youth and Children's Education Association) 2024 International Art Competition where I won Champion 🏆 in the open category theme : Grateful Blessings.

This is my most favourite painting as it induce a sense of calmness and peacefulness every time I look at it. It helps quiet the mind too.🧘🏻‍♀️

2025 Mastery Program Graduation 🎓

My journey in Milan Art Institute started in 2024 where I finally found an art institute in English medium, flexible and runs by a family of professional artists. It took me one whole year in 2024 to complete the program and so happy to graduate.

With great pride and joy, I am excited to announce my graduation.

Although I can't be present in person to receive my graduation certificate, I am honoured to share that I have successfully completed the Mastery Program from Milan Art Institute, USA.

This milestone marks the end of an incredible journey and the beginning of a new chapter.

I am deeply grateful for the support, encouragement and love from my family, friends and everyone who helped me along the way. I took one whole year in 2024 to complete the Mastery Program.

Yeah!!! I look forward to the opportunities ahead 😊

2025 Project #4

Last month I visited the PWW Book Corner in Ipoh and was thinking 🤔 to myself. What goes well with a book besides a cup of hot coffee ☕? Bookmarks 🔖 of course 💡👍🏻

So I did a simple project to paint bookmarks 🔖 for PWW book 📚 corner. It's my small contribution to the book corner.

Hope you like the bookmarks as much as I enjoyed painting them. 💕

This is the second year I participated in the art exhibition. Managed to make a trip from Ipoh to Penang and had such a wonderful time.
