No ritual or institution did more to reinforce the solidarity of the family system in traditional Chinese society than ancestor veneration. On one of the recent projects development in Red Land Design, we picked Amber Cheah latest commercial work in Papan Memorial Funeral Services 甲板生命關懷 that explore the belief, not in terms of a conflicting faith but with the aim of combining oriental blends with nature to glorify the tradition in modern world.
Since the main permanent building had been abandoned for some time, the company wanted to revive as one of the unique spatial planning concepts in this memorial development land. The reconstructing combines for consultation and administration office with funeral event implicated within the natural environment which is mainly composed of the mountains (shan) and the water (shui).

Measuring 3,600 square feet, turning each interior joinery element, artistically crafted with unique marbles imported from Yunfu (formerly romanized as Wanfow), China, the semi detached house was blended with well chosen materials, laminate and interior color choice by Red Land Design, Mr. Ng, a retired mechanical engineer's third house is an astonishing domicile, certainly qualifies as mini extravagant on the interior effects. Apart from renovation, customization work including sourcing furniture to decorative items and curtains from Foshan were envisioned by Canny Chung with Chris Lau assistance. Every detail of the sprawling property has been meticulously conceived and executed.

The grand ballroom project of Perak Chief Minister is well progressive.

This 8,600 square feet building will be infused with a modern colonial interior blend with elements of traditional Malay art commissioned by Elaine Woo, Managing Director of Red Land Design.

This exclusive project is expected to be completed by first quarter 2027 and aims to become one iconic local architecture for the century.
