Often, customers ask how to extract line drawings or whether they can use a photo projection directly to portray their furry friends (like cats, dogs, or rabbits) in a tufted artwork.
Of course, we can manually create line drawings using drawing software (some customers use Photoshop to extract them), or we can directly use a photo projection (honestly, we usually go with photo projection when we make them ourselves). This time, we used line drawings to adjust the proportions because we wanted to achieve a 1:1 ratio.
Whether it’s preparing line drawings in advance or tracing from a photo on the spot, we need to consider the differences in colors, shadows, highlights, and how to express the type of fur (long, short, curly, etc.).
Sometimes, however, the final result may look a bit different from the original photo—and that’s part of the charm! ✨ Tufting is a bit like painting; we embrace the unexpected beauty that comes along. 💞
多くのお客様から、線画の抽出方法や、写真を直接使用して毛むくじゃらの友達（猫、犬、ウサギなど）を房状のタフト作品として表現できるかについてご質問をいただきます。
もちろん、線画はドローソフトで手動で描くこともできます（Photoshopで抽出するお客様もいらっしゃいます）し、写真のプロジェクションを直接使うこともできます（実際、自分たちで作るときは通常プロジェクションを使っています）。今回は、1:1の比率にしたかったので、線画を使って比率を調整しました。
事前に線画を準備する場合でも、写真を使ってその場でトレースする場合でも、色の違いやシャドウ、ハイライト、そして毛質（ロング、ショート、カーリーなど）をどのように表現するかを考慮する必要があります。
ただ、時には仕上がりが元の写真と少し異なることもありますが、それもまたタフティングの魅力です✨ タフティングは絵画のようなもので、予期せぬ美しさを楽しむことが大切です💞
