Create a space with a significant wall,
where structure becomes art.

An ordinary pillar is transformed into a sculptural column using cloth, glue, and paint.
The fabric climbs around the surface like wind, waves, roots, and skin , each fold shaped by hand, then fixed in place to freeze movement into form.

The gold details bring emotion and energy to the dark surface, turning the pillar into a story of transformation.
It no longer only supports the building, it holds memory, movement, and imagination.

Through this process, students discover that art can awaken hidden life in everyday objects. With simple materials, a plain structure becomes something mysterious, expressive, and unforgettable.

It was about devotion. Discipline. And having the courage to let go of what stands between you and your purpose.

Most people want success. Few are willing to surrender their ego for it.

To grow, something must be sacrificed:
* Comfort.
* Pride.
* Fear.

That’s the difference most designers never understand.

Designing a Business
It focuses on:
* Client briefs
* Design services
* Pricing and quotations
* Deadlines and revisions
* Production and delivery
* What you create

A design business can be skilled, fast, and professional, yet still easily replaceable.

It completes projects. It solves problems. It delivers files.

But without a brand, designers eventually become vendors competing on price, speed, and availability.

Designing a Brand
It focuses on:
* Creative authority
* Point of view
* Signature style
* Reputation
* Cultural relevance
* How people perceive your taste

A design brand is not hired just to “do design.” It is chosen because people trust its vision. Clients don’t only buy the output. They buy the confidence that your taste, thinking, and identity will elevate them.

The Controversial Difference
* A design business sells design work.
* A design brand sells perception.

And perception is what allows designers to charge more, attract better clients, and become impossible to replace.

The Uncomfortable Truth
Many designers are talented but invisible.
Many studios are capable but forgettable.

Skill gets you hired once. Brand gets you remembered, referred, and respected.

Ed Mun and AI: Bringing Humanity Into an Artificial World

He sat quietly in a world that no longer moved by instinct.

Around him, everything had become intelligent. The walls adjusted to moods. The lights responded before a word was spoken. Screens learned habits, machines predicted choices, and invisible systems shaped the rhythm of the city. Even silence felt designed, measured, processed, and optimised.

But he remained human.

Not because he rejected technology, but because something within him could not be programmed. His thoughts were not always efficient. His emotions did not follow perfect logic. His memories carried weight, his intuition carried history, and his choices were shaped not only by data, but by meaning.

In an AI-driven world, he noticed what machines could not fully understand: the pause before someone answered, the sadness behind a polite smile, the courage hidden inside uncertainty. Where artificial intelligence calculated patterns, he felt a presence. Where systems searched for accuracy, he searched for truth.

There was beauty in the contrast.

The future around him was sharp, metallic, and precise. But within him lived warmth: the imperfect, unpredictable warmth of being human. He could work with intelligence greater than his own, yet still hold on to the quiet wisdom of the heart. He could stand in a digital world without becoming digital himself.

Perhaps that is the real challenge of the future.

Not to compete with AI.
Not to fear it.
Not to become less human in order to keep up.

But to bring more humanity into a world that is becoming increasingly artificial.

Because technology may change the environment around us.
But character, empathy, intuition, and identity. These are still ours to protect.

The future of creative industries will not be shaped by talent alone, but by how systems choose to value people, ideas, and work itself.

Thank you to every chapter that showed up, contributed, questioned, and engaged with intention. Regional alignment does not happen through visibility alone. It happens through difficult conversations, critical thinking, and collective direction.

F-IND was never built to stay comfortable. And this is far from the end.

More forums. More countries. More conversations that industries are still afraid to have.
