Well, I’m happy to say that 2 pieces that were recent commissioned by someone are ready to find their new home.

I’m a happy artist.
Let’s call these pieces heart and soul. After all, I did pour both those things into these pieces, that’s for sure.

Blue. Turquoise.
And every other colour in between.

Polyphemus!
Son of the God of the Seas, Lord Poseidon!
How tragic your fate despite being of divine blood!
To be blinded in your eye by the merciless hand of Odysseus!
To live your life now as a towering but crippled giant,
wandering aimlessly on lands you will never see again!

How tragic your fate, oh mighty Polyphemus!
How tragic the fate of the Cyclops!
How tragic indeed!

P/S : And Just in case you’re wondering the word “Aatish” comes from the Persian word “āteaš” meaning fire ( but poetically could mean passion ) , and that’s exactly how I felt about my art .. all fired up! It just seemed right.

26/07/2026

Dear all my lovelies,
I’d like to introduce myself.

My name is Vishal J. Singh, and I’m a project architect based right here in the great city of Kuala Lumpur. I’ve been working in the architectural field for the longest time, but I’ve always had a passion for the arts, especially illustrative art. So let me share with you how I started indulging in art again and its all due to a bat virus that paralysed the world back in 2020.

When we were in lockdown mode for 56 days back then, there was an initiative launched by a group of very talented artists that invited people to engage in any kind of art they wanted and to post up their works on their socmed accounts. Naturally, I got involved.

Over time, the art start developing and pretty soon people were calling me to ask me If some of the pieces I did were for sale. I was a bit surprised back then but I decided to pursue this more passionately and then led to me doing more artworks, that resulted in me being invited for art exhibitions and even winning an art competition!

So I decided to open up a practice selling artworks, called Aatish Artworks, and its been a pretty interesting ride since then. And so last year in December 2025, an online arts company based in New York and Paris called me to ask me list my works on their website, for a fee of course, that I felt was reasonable. A little back and forth later, and voila its up! So do drop by and have a look, but more importantly, please just share it out.
