IN AUGUST ..... you can make your own Nasi Lemak & wear them with pride!

It is amazing how a single bite of nasi lemak can take me right back to my primary school days when a simple, no-frills packet costs just 50 sen .....yes, that'show ancient I am! Back then, that humble bundle wrapped in banana leaf and newspaper was the highlight of my morning, a small but essential ritual before starting class. Although the price of our beloved national dish has certainly changed over the years, the comfort it brings remains completely timeless.

​I have crafted these miniature nasi lemak earrings to those memories. One side shows the perfectly folded or BUNGKUS, rustic exterior, while the other reveals the vibrant, delicious contents inside. It is a joy to take these familiar, nostalgic elements and shrink them down, preserving the heart of a Malaysian breakfast in a piece of art that you can carry with you.

​ Designing these pieces allows me to combine my professional background as an F&B lecturer with my love for heritage-inspired themes. Whether you remember the 50-sen price tag or simply love the iconic taste, I hope these little creations serve as a beautiful reminder of the simple joys we all share.
