Meet the committee behind REKA Design Week 2026.

A collective of designers, architects, educators, and creative practitioners brought together by a shared belief — that design has the power to connect people, shape culture, and inspire meaningful change.

Together with the Creative Producers and programme contributors, the RDW2026 committee plays a vital role in shaping the direction, conversations, and experiences behind this year’s festival.

Guided by the theme, Designing Dignity, the team continues to build a platform that bridges creativity, community, culture, and sustainability through collaboration and creative exchange.

More than organising a festival, this is about cultivating a stronger and more connected design ecosystem for Malaysia and the region.

Because every meaningful creative movement begins with people coming together with a shared vision.

A collective of creatives, architects, designers, educators, and cultural thinkers brought together by a shared vision — to shape meaningful conversations and experiences through this year’s theme, Designing Dignity.

Together, they contribute different perspectives across culture, living, community, sustainability, and creative engagement — helping shape RDW2026 into more than a festival, but a platform for dialogue, connection, and creative exchange.

More than a visual mark, each letter within REKA becomes a reflection of the values shaping the festival:

Celebrating warmth, comfort, and the beauty of everyday experiences.
