The wait is finally over. Meet WIRA & MANJA — the new faces of Malaysian adventure and the official miniature ambassadors for VisitMalaysia2026! 🇲🇾🧱

We chose this historic 65th Anniversary to unveil them because, like Zoo Taiping, Wira and Manja represent the heart of our heritage and the beauty of our wildlife.

Wira carries the spirit of the Malayan Tiger and the strength of the Keris, while Manja brings the charm and grace of our local culture. Together, they are ready to travel to every corner of Malaysia, from the heritage streets of Melaka to the peaks of Kinabalu. 🗺️🏔️

The final countdown begins. ⏳🌙

Tonight, the shadows fade. Our mystery travellers have completed their scouting mission across Taiping, and their kits are packed for the big day.

Tomorrow morning, at the Zoo Taiping 65th Anniversary, they will be there to meet you all.

Their mission has taken them to the heart of Taiping’s heritage, scouting for the perfect backdrop for their big announcement this Saturday. Every corner of the Rain Town whispers a new story, but they can‘t stop checking that number: 65.

Two mysterious travelers have just touched down in the historic Rain Town.

First things first: fueling up with a classic Nasi Lemak and a frothy glass of Teh Tarik. ☕🍱

They’ve got a packed ”To-Do List“ and a very important date this April 25th. With Zoo Taiping celebrating its 65th Anniversary this Saturday, these two are on a tight schedule to get everything ready for their official debut.

We’re keeping their identities under wraps for now to keep the surprise, but here’s a hint: They are small in size, but they carry the spirit of on their shoulders. 🇲🇾🧱

Can you guess who’s behind the bricks? Stay tuned as we trail them through the mist of Maxwell Hill and the shadows of the Lake Gardens all week long.
