Redefining the classic style and giving it a new definition.
The home features a whimsical blend of classic and urban contemporary style, showcasing a multitude of design elements that is apparent in every corner of the house. With the overwhelming amount of colours, textures and features present, the challenge was to find a balance to bring all of it together without looking out of place, and each element had to be studied carefully to ensure that we would be able to piece them together to create a cohesive space.
Wainscoting is featured throughout the home give it its classic flair, using bold splashes of blue and green to give these classic elements a contemporary take and pairing the design with deep wood colours for an urban appeal. Patterned tiles were selected for the kitchen backsplash and floor to further enhance and define the spaces, mixing it with white marble look counter top and a feature black marble for the island to give every inch of the space a voice that speaks on its on, ensuring that no matter which direction you look at, there is something to be seen.
The furniture is also carefully curated to ensure that each piece further enhances the whimsical vibe of the home, where each piece is able to shine on its own whilst still blending in perfectly with one another, creating a home that appears almost 'art gallery' like that is sure to start conversations amongst guest.
