Blumhouse Cellar knows how important it is to keep wine at its best. That's why we pay close attention to the moisture content in our cellars, in addition to the ideal temperature. Humidity can cause damage to wine bottles, such as deteriorating labels and affecting the quality of the wine itself. Low humidity can dry out corks, which lets oxygen in and can ruin the wine. To ensure that our cellars maintain proper humidity levels, we make sure they are properly constructed and sealed, with a cooling system in place. The ideal relative humidity level is between 60%-75%, and it should never drop below 50%. Trust us to have the right setup and keep your wine at its best for years to come.
