A bedroom does not always need to be loud to feel special.

For this space, we wanted it to feel more like a quiet retreat... soft, organic, and gently luxurious. A room that feels warm the moment you step in, where every curve, texture and tone works together to create a sense of calm.

Nothing overly dramatic, nothing excessive, just a home that feels restful, grounded, and deeply comfortable.

A cozy bedroom, but with the atmosphere of a private resort escape.

A softer take on city living - our recent project at The Conlay by E&O, KL for a couple from Hong Kong.

We didn’t want this home to feel overly minimal, but we also didn’t want it to become too resort-like or overly organic. The whole design process was really about finding that middle ground.

The base of the space still carries a clean and calm Muji feeling, but we slowly layered in warmer timber tones, softer lighting, textured finishes, and gentle curves to make the space feel a little more soulful and less expected.

Somehow, the curves became less about “design trend” and more about creating a smoother and quieter atmosphere throughout the home. Nothing too loud, nothing too sharp.

A little moodier, a little warmer, and honestly… a little more human. We personally love how the shadows fall in this home during the evening. The warm indirect lighting, muted tones, and natural textures give the space a very calm presence without trying too hard.

Probably one of those homes that won’t shout for attention... but feels better the longer you stay in it.

Some homes don’t need to impress.
They just need to feel right.

This duplex penthouse was designed for a Canadian couple we’ve worked with before, and that trust shaped everything. No excess. No noise. Just clean lines, calm proportions, and materials that age beautifully.

Soft minimalism runs through the space. Fluted surfaces catch the light gently. Stone, timber, and shadows move slowly with the day.

Nothing here asks for attention,
but everything has been carefully considered.

It’s a home meant to be lived in, not styled.

Quiet. Grounded. Effortless.
