The space was set up to provide underprivileged mom a comfortable place to sew and their little ones a safe place to play while waiting for their moms. We've since opened up our space for passionate crafters, sewists, artists, hobbyists, etc. All proceeds from our workshop partners are used to sustain the running of the sewing centre for our beneficiaries so that they continue to have a pleasant e

nvironment to learn and work. If you are looking for a place to conduct regular or ad-hoc workshops, do get in touch with us. We'd be happy to discuss how we can work together. If you're looking for any specific sewing, crafting or other creative / handmade classes, do also get in touch. We'd be happy to hear from you and will try our outmost best to find the perfect teachers for you.

Rarely do I get to have 1-to-1 chat with our sewing mamas but today is a rare occasion that I was alone at .Space with Cing, one of our refugee moms. She was telling me about her journey to Malaysia, and how she's looking to earn more since her 3 kids will be attending school next year. She then asked if she can teach sewing part time... why not? I think this is a superb idea and another means to empower our moms.
So, please show hands if you're interested to attend a sewing 101 class with our refugee mom 🙋🏻🙋🏻... perfect for absolute beginners. You'll learn how to fill the bobbin, thread the needle, operate the sewing machine, and sew your very first mini project.
RM80 per participant (2 hours) - weekday morning 9.30am-11.30am
* We need at least 4 participants to start the class
* We can't promise that our moms speak good English but we promise you'll have fun 😊
Please help spread the word and help make this empowerment project a success. Thanks 🙏🏻
