1. Less Toxic- Soy wax are less toxic as compared to paraffin candles and are less likely to trigger allergies. Besides that, due to the fact that it has a lower burning point, it is less likely to create an after effect of soot in your candle (the black stuff you see in your regular mass produced candles).
2. Longer Burning- It also has a lower melting point that enables it to burn slower and cleaner than paraffin based candles.
3. Renewable & Biodegradable- Unlike paraffin which comes from petroleum, soy is a renewable plant-derived product.
4. Low Heat – Soy produces less heat than paraffin and keeps your house cooler. CANDLE CARE
When burning your soy candle for the first time, it is important to first ensure that the wick of the candle is trimmed to ¼ inch and burn the candle for a minimum of one hour for the wax to fully melt across the width of the jar. Soy candle has a memory thus a fully melted pool will ensure an even burn for future burns to encourage the release of maximum scent. For best burning results, we highly recommend that a candle is burned for 1-2 hours in one sitting. Once your candle has burnt to the bottom of the jar, you could choose to reuse the jar by removing the wick base and cleaning the jar with warm water and soap.
