Dominos 骨牌
The design of Jadehill Residence is inspired by the concept of Dominos 骨牌 — a quiet expression of connection, rhythm, and continuity within the home. Much like domino pieces arranged in a deliberate sequence, each space is thoughtfully planned to flow into the next, forming a harmonious composition where every element supports and responds to one another.
Rooted in a Japanese Minimalist design language, the home embraces simplicity with warmth, creating a calm and balanced environment that feels both refined and welcoming. Rather than relying on excess decoration, the design focuses on clarity of form, purposeful layouts, natural materials, and the beauty of restraint.
A palette of bright, natural tones defines the overall atmosphere. Soft whites, warm beige hues, light timber finishes, and subtle earthy textures enhance openness while bringing a gentle sense of brightness into the interior. Natural materials play a central role in shaping the character of the home, reflecting the Japanese appreciation for authenticity, simplicity, and tactile beauty.
The concept of Dominos is further expressed through the spatial arrangement and design language of the residence. From one area to another, lines, volumes, and materials are layered in subtle succession, creating a visual rhythm that feels connected yet composed — much like a series of domino pieces placed with intention.
Jadehill Residence is ultimately envisioned as a sanctuary of lightness and calm — a home where minimalism is not cold, but deeply human; where natural textures soften the space; and where every corner supports a peaceful, grounded, and elegant way of living.
