Cooking frozen to finished beef rendang in our 3 qrt saucepan. Just put in around 1kg of frozen beef brisket, half the pack of beef rendang paste, 1 cut onion, some pandan leaves tied in a knot and 1/2 glass of water.
Put on medium heat and wait for the valve to click consistently. Then turn the heat down to low heat setting. Cook for an hour or more if you want it softer.
No stirring needed😊

A wonderful day with our new owners at today’s cooking class! 👩🏻‍🍳✨

We showcased a delicious menu featuring crispy roast pork, Korean Japchae, Korean chive pancakes, fried fish, and stir-fried vegetables 🍽️🥬🥦🥕🥒🫑🧅🧄🐟🐷🔥 Everyone was amazed at how easy it was to prepare the roast pork — and the skin turned out incredibly crunchy and crispy! 🤩

A big thank you to our amazing consultants for helping with the clean-up, as well as capturing all the beautiful photos and videos throughout the session 📸🎥💪🏻

Beyond the cooking, it was also a meaningful time of connection, learning, testimonies and sharing of our wonderful business opportunity. Truly grateful for a fun and fruitful day together ❤️

Making Vegetarian Japchae the easy Saladmaster way. Thank you Saladmaster for making our cooking so easy and enjoyable!

Korean Vegetarian Japchae 韩国素拌面

Utensil: EOC and SMM

Ingredients:

1 packer of the potato noodle(soaked in hot boiling water for around 1 minute)drizzle with sesame oil and soya sauces and place in the salad bowl to keep warm
Lots of garlic(grate with cone no.1)
Chives, chopped
Spinach
Sesame seeds(roasted in the 1 qt roaster)set aside
Shiitake mushrooms(soaked and sliced)drizzle with sesame oil, soya sauce, corn syrup and sesame seeds, set aside
Spring onions(sliced)
Red capsicum(sliced)
Corn syrup
Some light soya sauce
Some dark soya sauce
Some vegetarian oyster sauce(optional)

Method:
1. Pre-heat the EOC to 230°C. Sautéed the garlic, capsicum, spring onion, chives and mushrooms till fragrance.
2. Add in the noodle and mix it well with the sauces, then turn the temperature down to 140°C and cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Lastly top with spinach and turn the temperature down to 100°C, close the lid and cook for a further 2-3 minutes or until the spinach are soft and cooked.
4. Season accordingly to your liking. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
5. Enjoy!

Pandan Chiffon cake 💚🍰

Ingredients:
Egg yolk batter:
6 egg yolks
30g veggie oil
100g self raising flour
Few drops of Pandan essence(or use the real pandan leaves, blend with water n squeeze the juice out to make 30-50ml)

Egg white batter:
6 egg whites
90g castor sugar
1/4 tsp of cream of tartar

Methods:
Hand whisk the egg yolks with it’s ingredients.

Beat the egg whites, sugar and cream of tartar till peak form.
Gently fold in the egg yolk batter.

Use the 3 qrt roaster to bake the chiffon cake. Do not grease the pot. Must use the smallest fire on the smallest rim to bake. Seal the lid with a tablespoon of water. Bake for roughly 35-40 mins. When the cake is done, quickly invert it on a rack or big plate(raised, so that the cake will not touch the plate). Let it cool down completely before you un-mould it.

Perfect Eggs, Two Ways 🍳✨

I enjoy my eggs hard-boiled using the Saladmaster method — where the yolk remains moist and the egg white develops a naturally savoury flavour. Simple, wholesome, and absolutely satisfying.

Using just 2 tablespoons of water, cook on medium heat until the Vapo-Valve begins to click. Allow it to cook for 1 minute, then reduce to low heat and continue for 3 minutes. Perfectly done — effortlessly.

For a different preference at home, my husband enjoys his omelette with a crisp exterior and a tender centre. Melt a little butter in a skillet, pour in a lightly beaten mixture of 2 eggs with chopped chives or spring onions, and cook until the edges turn golden and crisp. Flip, cook for another minute, and it’s ready to serve.

Two simple styles, both deliciously satisfying. Thank you Saladmaster!
