Not plant related, but too beautiful not to share!

My Eco-Botany students attempted decoupage on glass jars. It took us 3 weeks to complete the project. We painted the jars in week 1, glued the napkins in week 2 and applied varnish and flowers in week 3 which was today.

It took lots of patience and concentration, but they did it! The aim of this project is to cultivate the think-before-throwing and the 'how can I repurpose this item?' mindset.

I opted for flower vases. However, the jars can also serve as a vessel to store cookies, candy, snacks, cooking utensils, cutleries, etc.

This week for our Eco-Botany activity, we made bookmarks from dried leaves. The students had a great zen time focusing on positioning their leaves and applying glue onto their bookmarks. The results are absolutely stunning! Another handmade gift idea with a touch of nature 🌿🎀

Big boys get the top shelf!

The good, the bad and the ugly of being into plants.

We became friends through plants. We became lovers through plants. We argue about plants. We debate about plants. We almost give up through plants. At the end of the day, we remember how we got together in the first place. We will continue to be each other's pillar of strength, no matter how many times others put us down, look down on us, discourage us and belittle us.
