No matter if you’re a kid or an adult, our daily lives are constantly surrounded by AI, videos, games, advanced technology, work, and endless little tasks. 📱💻

Sometimes, we just need a short break.

A moment to slow down.
To put everything aside.
To calm our minds.
And simply enjoy doing something with our hands. 🎨

That’s why I believe art is more than just drawing.

In my classes, I always encourage children to first think about:

✨ What do you want to create?
✨ What do you want to draw?
✨ What colours do you want to use?

There’s no need to rush.

Just slowly draw, observe, think, and focus.
For a little while, the outside world can wait. 🤍

Maybe the artwork doesn’t have to be perfect.

Maybe the most important thing is that, for those 90 minutes,
their little minds finally get a chance to slow down. 🎨🌿

When he first joined art class… 🎨

👩🏻‍🏫 Teacher: “What made you want to learn art?”

👦🏻: “My mum forced me… I don’t like drawing!” 😂

At first, he was the kind of student who would say:

“I don’t know.”
“Teacher, just tell me what to do.”
“Anything also can.”

He simply followed the teacher’s instructions — without much interest, without much opinion.

But one year later… ❤️

👩🏻‍🏫 Teacher: “How is it? Do you enjoy drawing now?”

👦🏻: “Yes, teacher!” 🥹

And slowly, I started hearing very different things from him:

“Teacher, why can’t I make it fiercer?”
“Teacher, I want to draw this one!”
“Teacher, I want to mix these colours for the water!” 💦
“Teacher, can I do it this way?”

That’s when I realised…

He wasn’t just learning how to draw.
He was learning to have his own ideas.

From “I don’t like drawing”
to “Teacher, I want to draw this!”

From simply following instructions
to making his own creative choices.

And honestly, this is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. 🥹❤️

Art is not always about becoming the best artist.

Sometimes, it’s about watching a child slowly discover:

“Hey… I actually enjoy creating something by myself.” 🎨✨

And that little spark of confidence?
That’s what makes every class worth it. ❤️

Guess what..... Is Rumi!!

Our student is a Huntrix fan and this is her 3rd artwork, and she decided to draw Rumi, her favourite character in this movie 🎥

She tried to observe the hair, the body, the every detail as she could and color it with colorful colors

She did a great job on trying out the challenge compared to the first class🔥

🐔✨ Same theme. Different imagination.

Today, our young artists were all given the same challenge: Draw a chicken. 🐓

But look what happened... 👀

One child imagined a Roblox-inspired chicken. 🎮 Another created a farm chicken surrounded by nature. 🌿

Same lesson. Same materials. Yet two completely different stories.

That's the magic of creativity. 💛

At My Hobby Studio, we don't teach children to copy. We encourage them to explore their own ideas, make creative choices, and express themselves through art.

Because there isn't just one "correct" chicken— There are hundreds of possibilities waiting in a child's imagination. 🌈

Which chicken is your favourite? 🥰 🎮 Roblox Chicken 🐓 Farm Chicken

💖 Pink, sparkly, and full of imagination!

Today's little artist chose to draw one of her favourite Pokémon—Sylveon! ✨

From sketching the outline to carefully colouring every detail, she poured her creativity into every step. There's no "perfect" artwork here—only confidence, imagination, and the joy of creating something she loves. 🌈

At My Hobby Studio, every drawing tells a story. We encourage children to express themselves through their favourite characters while learning colouring techniques, observation skills, and creative thinking. 🎨

The biggest reward isn't just a beautiful artwork... It's seeing the smile on their face when they proudly say,

"I drew this myself!" 🥹💕
